+1. Yes, at the K admissions level, admissions will depend as much on what your family can contribute to the new school as on DC's test scores.

OP the concept of Feeder - ensuring you DC gets into a given school or that spots are reserved - simply does not exist. Thats not to say next step school are not familiar with the preschools it just mean there is no gaurantee that if your DC attends X school then they are assured a spot at Y school. At the end of the day it does not matter. It may however help prevent a situation where you apply to 5 schools and are wait listed everywhere but it does not gaurantee you will get into your first choice.
