Mitt's snarky delivery of his his line, followed by Obama's rebuttal, would make a nice campaign ad.Anonymous wrote:This was the president's response to Romney making jest of our very serious climate issues:
"And yes, my plan will continue to reduce the carbon pollution that is heating our planet – because climate change is not a hoax. More droughts and floods and wildfires are not a joke. They're a threat to our children's future. And in this election, you can do something about it." ~Pres. Barack Obama

Agree. That was very effective. However, I was interested to see the following week that my nephew posted on Facebook that "So ryan calls us stupid cuz were voting 4 the pres that gives a shit about us.... wow such a clear decision" My nephew is no bleeding heart liberal and his immediate family has a reputation for being racist. I really did not expect him to post anything like this. So it makes me wonder if Ryan's powerful statement will have that much influence. Of course, my nephew is a sample of one and we're a long way from November still, so I'm not counting my votes before they hatch.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:College graduates should not have to live out their 20s in their childhood bedrooms, staring up at fading Obama posters and wondering when they can move out and get going with life.
I hate romney, but that is a great one.

DNC (Ted Strickland - Former Ohio Gov.) - "If Mitt was Santa Claus, he'd fire the reindeer and outsource the elves."
RNC (Mitt Romney) - "President Obama promised to begin to slow the rise of the oceans and heal the planet. My promise…is to help you and your family."
What are the lines you remember, so far?
