My outrage about Ann Romney's earrings was missing because I didn't see the thread.
I find the commentary about the physical appearance of women speakers to be offensive, no matter what party the speaker represents.
It *is* stupid, and it *is* what people do. But, contrary to empty rhetoric from politicians (of both parties), the American people are pretty much a stupid lot. They're not wise in any sense.

I don't know what you're talking about, but do you think Anne Romney would live any less "large" ? Somehow I doubt it.
She has class. Therefore, she would be very understated because the situation denotes it.
