Great Lakes Blackout Stout is good, too. Epic Brewing's Big Bad Baptist is among the best stouts I've ever had, but very hard to find.

Dale's Pale Ale is another good option for cans.

Don't buy anything you serve with fruit.

DPA has quite a bit of horsepower.

Go with IPAs if you want trend. I absolutely hate IPAs so I can't recommend any but they are really hot at the moment. My personal preference is saisons/farmhouse ales right now so if you are looking for a good refreshing option I'd recommend that over wheat. They are definitely harder to find so you'd have to go to a specialty store. I am a huge fan of Stillwater, which is a Frederick brewery. Yards also has a Saison as does Dogfish Head (which I've only seen one place ever but it does exist). Dupont is probably the most established.

Blue Moon is owned by Coors? Wow--another good reason not to drink it.
