what exactly did romney do vs take away vital resources fro
public responders who could have used the time to help people affected by the storm?

did her declare a state of emergency? nope, can't do that.

did he declare funds for disaster relief? nope, can't do that.

so basically he wasted public resources to stage a photo-op.

Romney and Jindal spent close to an hour meeting with first responders and local officials. Romney shook hands with National Guardsmen outside the U.S. Post Office and talked with a local resident, Jodie Chiarello, 42, who lost her home in Isaac's flooding.

"He just told me to, um, there's assistance out there," Chiarello said of her conversation with Romney. "He said, go home and call 211." That's a public service number offered in many states.


Romney: People who have lost their homes should go home and call 211.

What exactly is Romney going to do? Pray for them? They are all about small government. They don't believe that government should help people in need; that's what the church collection plate is for. Look at the Ryan budget; it decimates all non-defense spending, i.e. FEMA.
