It's just a name. Think of the child and all that, but I went to school with kids with all kinds of weird names (America, Hamilton, Reynolds, BJ-girl, Bambi) and they didn't get made fun of. Sure, don't name your kid Adolph or Moon Unit, but otherwise it's really not a huge deal.

Seriously, parents should think of their kids' lives, their whole lives when giving names. And not be so selfish to give in to some fancy that *they* like at the moment.

My sister is pregnant and is planning to give her baby a truly hideous name... think pretentious, kid's going to get made fun of on the playground, the whole 9 yards. There isn't even a normal middle name to fall back on. She's gotten so many bad reactions, but keeps on keeping on.

I must say that compared to Bradyn, Diesel, and Apple, Wolfgang is almost staid and sober. A slightly edgy middle name is a good thing. It says, "We know how to step right up tothe line, but not cross over it."

Who cares? It's a middle name, and it's not your kid. I'm sure someone won't like the name you pick out for your child, either. You can't please everyone so might as well please yourself.
