I'm also surprised by the woman that said that she wouldn't teach her son to cook. That was the reason DH got a second date. He made me dinner and it involved more than throwing a peice of meat on a grill. We have different styles of cooking. He grew up in the south and can do things with fish that you wouldn't beleive and I learned from my Central PA mother and I think that in someways he is a better cook than I am.
