Do you know what area she is in now? Does she want a newer house/neighborhood or an older one? What's her budget? Does she have kids? If you tell me a little more about her, I can definitely suggest some areas. Also, I can maybe suggest other ways for her to meet people. I can tell you that she should avoid southern Johnson County.

Creation is not a theory. It is a religious belief. As such, it has no place in the public school curriculum, unless maybe you are talking about a Bible as Literature class.

Evolution on the other hand is a scientific theory.

I don't know. Personally, I did not have any Asians in my school when i was growing up. I knew quite a few in college. I believe they did have the higher grades, but I went to a small, nondescript state college, so the bar was not exactly set too high. Most of the Asian children I know have American parents. They don't seem to excel compared to their peers. There are a few Asian families around here where there seems to be a Tiger Mom situation going on. Those kids go to private school.

I am white. Our inner circle is very diverse. Lots of friends and family who are not white (through marriage and adoption). We also make a point to celebrate different cultures with our kids. But when I look at the big picture, it is pretty disappointing. My kids' classes tend to be pretty diverse, but every teacher in their school is white. About 90% blonde hair, blue eyes, under 35. I look around our (relatively liberal) church and I don't see a lot of non-white people. My daughter takes dance classes and I noticed the same thing at their recital - there were a few Asian girls and that's it. My extended family is in central KS and, sadly, I think they many of them are pretty racist.
