My ex used to go to sleep at 9:30pm every night but she would wake up at 5:30-6. I get that although I'm a night owl. OP's DH sounds like there's something physically wrong with him or maybe he's avoiding life.

I also go to bed by 9pm and don’t get up till 7am. I sleep terribly and get up a lot. To get sufficient rest, I need to give myself that window of sleep time.

Why does sex have to happen at night? I prefer my mid day rendezvous with my husband. Makes it fun. Frequently least to a late evening round two or mutual masterbation session before falling asleep.

Not if you have kids. That was my usual preference, but once you have young kids that’s completely impossible.

A lot of jumping to serious medical concerns here. It could also be that he isn’t a good sleeper. I don’t fall asleep easily and wake up multiple times a night. You say he is dumb and yet you married him....what does that say about you? I find it hard to believe he did a 180 when you got married.

My husband leaves for work at 5 am and comes home around 3:30 in the afternoon. Dinner is cooked, the house shuts down, take the phone off the hook and he sleeps for 45 minutes. We then eat at 5, he goes to bed at 9 pm maybe 10 some nights.

I don't expect him to entertain me, I do that all by myself. I am free to do whatever I want from 5 to 3 everyday and I don't need hand holding.

We do all our house/life stuff on the weekends. I like the arrangement and do my best to make sure he gets enough rest. He affords my SAH life, it's the least I can do.
