I have thought about Anna all day as well...
I am from Vienna, and remember when that little boy died. It was all over the local news. I just read that blog post...absolutely heartbreaking. And I remember thinking when I first heard about it: "why was a kid out playing in this weather?". Reading that post has never made me feel so ashamed for judging

. My heart goes out to her tonight.
I am from Vienna too and my heart breaks for this family- I cried so much reading her blog..
Can someone fill me in? What happened?
I am one of the pps. During a wild storm last fall, it came out on the local news that a little boy had drowned while playing in a creek in Vienna. I teach at a local MS, so I was concerned it was one of my kids, and I paid very close attention to the story-that is why I remember it so well. I'm not sure if it made such an impression on others. At the time, I remember wondering what the h@ll a kid was doing playing out in that kind of weather, so the storm was really bad (much worse than this one, at least here in Vienna). Scroll back to page 2 of this for the blog post, but beware-it is heart crushing and you will probably cry.
