As I have stated before, my DC's primary caregivers are consistently in the classroom. It seems really strange that a parent is taking this issue up on DCurbanmoms and not discussing this with the FDA COs and COTRs for this contract.
OP is not a parent. OP is a teacher, trying to stir things up. If your position is in childcare, and there are no children to care for, then what else is the staff going to do but send people home? These people are not getting laid off, they still have a job, but are not needed. This is legal, and this is what happens in childcare.
