Typically driven by very thin, often mean women.

They are annoying. I don't care to know about your family make-up. It's none of my business, I am a stranger to you.

Why is there such a need to display this?

I hated the baby on board stickers, but they really became a big thing way before I had kids.

I find myself now with two kids, no mini van, and thinking those family stickers are cute. My husband despises them. I think the artwork is sort of cute, and the personalizations are kinda fun.

What has become of me? I also wore my hair in a ponytail all weekend.

I"m a pudgy, sometimes-pony-tailed, non-minivan-driving, WOHM and I really don't like those stickers at all!! I think they are so supremely stupid! I feel like they were popular in the South first and have made their way up here, bc I used to see them all the time when visiting relatives down in SC, then my friend in Richmond posted about them, and now I just feel like they are ubiquitous around here! Blegh! Stupid!

I'm a pudgy, pony-tailed, minivan-driving mom. Maybe these stickers are what will finally complete me.

Actually, for me, when i put the 'baby on board' sticker on my car, it wasn't because i expected other drivers to drive differently - it was to give other drivers a heads up about why i was driving cautiously and observing speed limits, sriving slower and more carefully in general, etc.

Oh hi! We must be kindred spirits.... My DH and I also invent funny variations on these stickers for our nonexistent minivan. It all started with.... Mistress doing naughty things to Dad + Dad + Mom + kids + dogs...

AAA estimates that car stickers cause 15% of all traffic accidents and is pushing to ban them.

Really? You can see the point of the "Baby on Board" signs? As if other drivers think "I was going to mindlessly ram the back of your car because I don't care other people, my own safety, or my car insurance premiums, but you have a baby so I guess I won't." Those signs seem stupider to me.
