Cogat was 132, NNAT don't remember the exact score but was around 90%ile.
WISC subscores: VCI 126, PRI 112, WMI 126, PSI 115.
your DC will get it.. as the scores seems to be higher than my DC's and FYI.. I didn't write any cover letter.

Discuss why the child needs the AAP curriculum. Just note your own observations of your child and the reasons you see for the need for AAP. Also, note that English is a second language- this may have had an effect on scores. You might be able to politely mention that this fact was accidentally left off her original application. I think it might then qualify as "new information" although you also have the WISC which is also new.

Yes, DC has a Full Scale WISC of 124... WISC scores are:
Verbal Comprehension 126, Perceptual Organization 131 Working Memory 102 Processing Speed 109 Full Scale: 124
I hope the GBRS of 13 counts as well..
Just NOT sure what to say in the cover letter.. to convince the need for AAP, doesn't want to offend them as well by saying the base school curriculum is too easy for DC.

with a 120 cogat and a 133 nnat they would probably expect a wisc around 124. I don't think it is very compelling - wow this kid really NEEDS the program.

I think a 96 percentile is somewhere around a 126. If so, and the WISC scores are in the range of 126 across the board, I would say there might be a chance, but not a strong chance. If there are some "Very Superior" scores in there, that would strengthen the case.
