Subject: TTC same cycle as HSG test -- what has your doctor told you?
My doctor at SGF said it was fine to try right away. It was clear but didn’t help us conceive naturally. Wound up doing IVF a year later.

My friend and I both got pregnant that cycle after bfn for over a year before. Both had miscarriages.

Had an hsg and got pregnant that cycle after trying with no luck for 5 months. Miscarried at 6 weeks.

Hsg done after 5 months of no pregnancy at 35. Got pregnant that cycle, miscarried at 5w6d. No one ever told me not to try and it still makes me furious.

I HAD ONE DONE OCTOBER 6. FOUND OUT THAT I AM PREGNANT OCTOBER 26. MISCARRIED NOVEMBER 30, 2017

I thought the main issue was whether the contrast dye is oil vs. water based (if I remember correctly I thought I read that water-based doesn't have the same fertility-enhancing effects?)
