If you agency has a medical leave bank,sign up for it ASAP. I started and eight weeks later had a baby and used medical leave bank for 8 weeks of paid leave.
Most agencies don't allow you to use the leave bank for pregnancy, since it isn't a disability or illness. The leave bank is particularly designed for individuals with an illness.
