And just for the record: Upon entering the league, Davis signed to a 5-year, $23 million deal that made him the highest paid tight end at the time

Except that one brother tweeted about getting a disturbing call from Washington, DC on Friday. Plus how do you know what his Grandmother's (who raised him and his two brothers) mortgage is? Both brothers went to Dunbar and lived in the house with their younger brother. Plus when Vernon came back to UMD for an event he bragged about how great his little brother (the one in the attacks) was and how he had much more talent for the NFL than either of the older brothers.

They weren't out of touch.

That said, I don't think it is their responsibility to pay for anything for him. Just because they have the means doesn't mean they need to do anything for this clearly disturbed person -- who, is technically an adult and therefore is responsible for paying his own bills.

Do the brothers have a moral clause in their contracts so they can't be seen publicly supporting an alleged murderer?

Sorry... The boy is mentally challenged. Yes he has two famous football brothers, but the brothers did not show up in court. They are obviously not supporting the brother so bringing up that he has money or the family has money, is not relevant.
