Let me guess; your kid goes to Cooper, sells or buys drugs, is in a class of 50 kids and you think it's a great school because FCPS says so?

Nope. DC resident. Sent my kid to DCPS until I just couldn't take the lousy curriculum any more.

Whatever. Hope you''re enjoying your crushing debt for private school when your dd spends her weekends at bj parties at the homes of rich parents who are away in Europe for "business trips" and the like. We DCPS parents will just be here enjoying life, supplementing our kids education with extra-curriculars that you can no longer afford since you have chosen to spend your life trying to keep up with the 1%ers Jonses.

Catholic School, quite affordable, few of the parents are rich, not one in the 1%. But the curriculum is excellent. And the extracurriculars are included.

please the name of the school - this is not to criticize, I am always looking for good education opportunities for my kids, wherever they might be. thanks

many schools fit this description. The point is, get over your "best of the bunch" when the bunch isn't that great to begin with.

Because Mann isn't a feeder school for Deal, most people won't even consider it, no matter its test scores and reputation.--Janney and Lafayette are much better alternatives. I'm in bounds for Janney, btw.

Great. What does this autonomous curriculum consist of?

Yes, Key and Janney do, too. That poster doesn't know what she is talking about.

Then they are the ones whose residence is OOB, but who have an IB apartment that gets them in.
