I called, emailed, showed up at meetings, wrote letters, you name it, I did it. The only action I got from my issue was when I talked to The Parents Coalition, it was listed on the blog and then people stood up and took notice. Now the BOE rep for the district has shown up at the school, multiple face-to-face meetings have been held and the local news outlets have also ran stories.
Criticize all you want, that blog and the people behind it gets results.

That's what's happening right now! The poster who's so anti-PC ... 10 to 1 she or he is an MCPS employee.
I am one of the anti-PC posters; there are a few who have posted.
I have one son in private and one daughter in public. I am happy with both decisions - and yes, I am against the PC.
why?
- b/c THEY fail to post opposing views
- they themselves are not transparent
- the have agendas which are oftentimes very narrow and definitely self-serving
- they attract bitter followers
Nothing/no one is perfect. However, using heated language and one-sided information is pure rhetoric at its worst. I will echo another poster who mentioned Bill O'Reilly and I'll add Rush Limbaugh to the list. If I wanted to destroy someone or something, I'd take their lead. Janus is in that camp. She doesn't want to improve the system; she wants to destroy it. She doesn't care about children; she only cares about her own agenda.
Sadly, many people are too stupid to see through her blog.
way too stupid
