Apparently the joke is on Judy and Michael. They are making paracetic acid on their countertops by spraying them together on their countertops. And so it is more hazardous than vinegar and H202 on their own.

I still haven't seen anyone post anything about why chlorine bleach is harmful (if used correctly I mean). What are the health concerns people are worried about? I use it all the time, properly diluted.

I've been looking for straight ammonia-not for in door cleaning. I'm a chlorox fan and mixing those products is dangerous.

Well I use ammonia for rodent prevention-pour it around base of house etc. Any seen it?

For the poster who asked about pledge and endust, that junk leaves a ton of residue. Buy lemon oil instead. Same section at the store. Try old English. Avoids fumes too.

Lysol is gross. I've never bought it. I do have Clorox in the house. DH uses it for laundry sometimes and it is the only thing that gets stains off of my light countertops. It gives me a headache so I don't use it other than that. I am a vinegar/water, Method, and 7th Generation person. I LOVE the Method wood cleaner and glass cleaner. They smell so good! I am sensitive to the stronger chemical cleaners so it is nice that we have such good alternatives now.

Well, those of us who have raised bunnies or have bunny friends know that rabbit raisins really can look very much like real raisins. So it became real easy to imagine an evil rabbit raisin lurking inside of a bunch of real raisins when I started thinking about this. However, if you've never seen a real rabbit raisin, you'll have to just trust me on this--they really do look like raisins. Sort of. OK. Squint.

Yes to both.

You will have to pull the Clorox bleach out of my cold dead hands before I give it up. Noting and I mean nothing gets bathrooms and kitches cleaner and whiter than Clorox. Also I use clorox after cutting up raw meat in the kitchen.

I use vinegar/water for basic clean up, but I bring out the bleach when I need the big guns. Never have used Lysol, I actually don't "get" lysol, or what it is used for.

Additionally, the worlds best cleaning produce ever invented in COMET powdered scrub. Nothing gets tile grout and bath tubs cleaner than some comet and a good old fashioned scrub brush.
