He does snuggle when he is tired, but is outgoing, confident, and loves an adventure. Just be prepared for one of those kids who needs to be outside doing stuff a lot, which can be a fabulous fun thing.

Mine drives me NUTS! He wont sit still no matter what.

Funny, I think the fidgety/curious babies look smarter than the type of babies you describe who have no curiosity about the world.

I think maybe this response is better suited for the "baby-hating" forum.
Jeez....I really am sorry that your baby is fidgety. I feel lucky mine weren't and I love them dearly. I had double trouble with twins, so I was increadibly thankful that they were not fidgety. I also knew and anticipated their needs before they were upset. And yes, other people's constantly crying babies DO annoy me. I guess I never had kids that just cried for no reason, so I don't understand when they act like that. So yes, it makes me think that there might be a problem.

Ironically, by about his second birthday he had become pretty laidback. He's a teenager now and very gentle, sweet, compliant, quiet kid. Never would have predicted that!
Quoting myself, to say that my kid got kicked out of baptism class when he was 2 months old. Yes, expelled from his first school experience. I think they decided that clearly I was exhibiting the patience of a saint, and thus needed no further education because they did allow him to receive the sacrament, but told me it was OK if I skipped the lessons.
