OP (Marie) here:
Her shower time has changed from previously before bed until now when she gets home. She usually takes care of #2 after school when she gets home. I'm sure not flushing has to do with water pressure/temperature in the the shower as the toilet takes forever to fill after being flushed. She seems regular, so I'm not worried about any health issues. Since I haven't seen any of her BMs in a very long time (maybe age 8 or 9), I'm just very surprised now to see what I consider to be a very large BM coming from her on a consistent basis. I would think as a child gets older, their BMs also get a little larger. I would not think though that at 14 they would be adult-sized but I have no idea of when such a transition takes place. I understand that most parents are probably not looking at their child's BM at that age but thought there might be some insight from parents.

FYI, my 6 year old had HUGE poops and it never ceases to amaze me - and yes, at 6 he regularly forgets to flush (or put down the toilet seat!). I have no idea where the poop fits inside of him. He is very proud of his big poops -- an variant on the mine is bigger than yours at the tender age of six, I think.

I'm going to guess that this was a childless neurologist, or the parent of a toddler/preschooler.

To the PPs laughing at the OP's concern, I recently had my 11 year-old's neurologist ask me something like this. It was probably about how many times a day she pees and/or the color. The concern was hydration, of course, but I nevertheless had no idea how many times a day my pre-teen pees. He seemed to think I was a loser parent for not following this more closely!
