What does an arrest have to do with the speed of the investigation? Wasn't Huguely jailed while police investigated and prosecution built their case? Aren't most people who are suspected of murder?
Will you answer these questions directly?
Ok, first of all, we're on the same side here, so stop being so belligerent with me. If you want allies, you're going to have settle the down.
I didn't realize this happened on Feb. 26, so I agree it's odd the dude hasn't been arrested. I thought it happened in the last 24 hours. My mistake.

I understand the impulse, but this is just another form of vigilatyism. I think perhaps a federal investigation is in order if the locals don't charge him, but give the prosecutor time to work the case. If Zimmerman is to be arrested the last thing you want is a rushed investigation that makes a mistake that makes it hard to convict.

In what world are you allowed to stay free until the police are 100% sure on all the facts?
We have this little thing called habeas corpus in our country. Maybe you're unfamiliar with it?
You could argue police have sufficient cause to arrest him, I suppose, but he still has legal rights to make bail, etc.
In my experience, fanning the flames of public sentiment in sensitive cases doesn't assist the justice process.

Also, if the scumbag was in his car, he could have easily left his gun there. This guy was looking for a reason to play cop.
He can CLAIM and mount any defense. He can claim insanity. He can claim self-defense. He can claim he wasn't there. He can claim double jeopardy. He can claim he's Santa Claus if he wants to. (If the defense is totally frivolous it will be struck, probably, before it gets to the jury). It's proving the defense that's an issue and whether a judge/jury will believe it. I can mount multiple, even conflicting defenses to a crime if I want to.
Well so far this asshole hasn't even been arrested so ..........................................................
If the DA doesn't bring charges, they should be arrested themselves.
Why? In so much a way you accuse the shooter of vigilante'ism and acting out, you're demanding guilt without knowledge of facts, other than info from rants on DCUM.
