You were not alone today, OP. DH and I drank too much wine and had the best "adult intimate activity" of the year. It was awesome...but I felt like shit this morning and was draggy-assed all day. Not young anymore, I guess.

PP, for some people, it is traditional to go out to a nice dinner with a loved one and share a bottle of nice wine on Valentine's Day. Sometimes, flowers and candies are exchanged. Later, adult intimate activities may occur. These are all standard ways to celebrate this holiday, though they are by no means the ONLY ways to do so. Lighten the hell up.

I feel sorry for someone who thinks Valentines day is a life problem. Normal people sometimes drink to celebrate. And sometimes they drink a little too much and not to wash their troubles away. If you don't get that then clearly there is pain in your life, either childhood or marriage.
