Thank goodness! I thought I was the only one...no drinking, no drugs, no sex until I was 22.

Binged drank several times my freshman year, but after that, I didn't drink that much. Never had sex in college and never did drugs. My biggest issue was overeating (hello, freshman 30.)

I love sex but just don't have the desire to sleep with everyone and his brother (and sister).

I drank, but not to the point of blacking out, puking or passing out. We did drink to get drunk, but we also did stuff like wine tastings, make fancy cocktails, etc. No shotgunning beers or beer bongs or anything.
Never did any drugs, waited until I was 20 to have sex and it was never casual. No casual hookups at all actually, not even kissing.
I worked PT all 4yrs, took 15-21 credits each semester and had a BLAST. Went to a small public college.
My friends were all the same way. Classes and work and relationships were taken seriously, we were able to have fun without drinking, no one in my circle has any 'crazy' stories to tell or major regrets.
FWIW, I'm only 27, so this wasn't that long ago.

My high school years were much worse than my college years.

I had a wonderful time in college but didn't engage in risky behavior. I've never done drugs, I did drink some in college with a few binges but nothing terrible, and I was a virgin until 20.

Yes, OP, I can relate. I saved my serious drinking and dating until law school

I dated the same guy for all 4 years. We lived together for 3 years.
We did drink and have some parties, but it was "responsible". No one drove away drunk; they'd sleep on the couch.
No drugs.
We went skiiing every spring break.
Overall, I had fun, but not "too much" fun.

Drank only occasionally, and got falling-down drunk just a couple times. Tried pot a few times, but it didn't do much for me, so I stopped and didn't try any other drugs. Virgin till I was 20. Had a similar group of semi-nerdy, semi-crunchy friends, so maybe that helped. We were all white, middle class at a fairly selective school.

I didn't do any of these things.

On the other hand, I got engaged to a man (now my "D"H) who didn't treat me so well even then and went on to lay the groundwork for giving up the financial means to survive without him. So you might say that I did one really, really crazy thing in college and am still paying the price.

No pot, no sex, didn't drink at all til I was 21 -- but I was always uber practical and paid for college myself, so I sure as hell wasn't going to waste it.

Of course, I then had my first major relationship drama and breakup post-grad, while trying to hold down a job rather than just missing a couple classes. I'll encourage my kids to experience college more typically, in moderation.

I'm the OP. This (and lots of other people's comments) sounds just like me. I hope for something similar for my daughters. I want them to have fun, and I don't mind if they drink in moderation, but I am hoping that they won't engage in anything risky or dangerous.
