This is what I think the earlier PP was talking about when she said heels were trendy - these ridiculous things that male designers think women should be wearing. My DD and I have a long commute to her school every day and driving through the city we invariably see women wobbling across the street in these hideous shoes. One day we actually saw one wipe out in the middle of the street. My DD who's 10 thinks they're awesome - but even she laughs when we see the wobble women every morning.

I threw all of my heels away in the 1980s and never looked back!! I can't stand them - they way the look and the way they feel.

But I do LOVE the boot trend going on these days!

I wear 4" to 5" heels all day every day, and don't have any problem. I like wedge heels a lot, too. But I don't like platform styles.

maybe 3 days a week at work, which are largely stored under my desk. Never on weekends. Most of mine are solid/comfortable enough to run in (2 inch heels), and I also love flats.

Rarely. Seeing my Grandmothers feet, my MILs feet and my SIL's feet (and she is only 30), reminds me why I don't wear them! They wear heels almost all the time and have some gnarly looking bunions and foot problems.

nothing higher than 2 1/2 inches these days. I'm in my late 20s but damaged my foot from wearing too high heels too often when I was younger.

If only I could turn back the clock...

I'm curious - is this in a written dress code? Because many people cannot safely wear heels for a variety of medical reasons.

I actully wear heels everyday. For my job I think heels are a good thing. My husband likes it when I wear heels so I try to wear them for him.It works well for us.

I wear the 3 days a week usually and in the 2-3" range. I'm 5'2" so I "need" em more than taller women. I love cute flats though.

I agree. However, after wearing them this often for 15+ years, my feet, sadly, are not.

Rarely. They are very uncomfortable to me. I already have foot problems so I usually wear flat shoes!

Every day of the work week, and on "fancy" (i.e. non-jeans) dates.

6 days a week. To work and church, plus the occasional evening out. They are sexy.
