Grey looks better to me.

I like it. It's a real name and it's not used often. Always my criteria for best names.

I think Grey/Gray is a boy's name. It doesn't sound feminine at all to me and I've never heard of a girl with that name.

I prefer Grey for a boy.

I'm also leacing towards naming my so Grey/Gray but am at a stand still on how I should spell it... I suppose it depends on how you like it to look. I also am fond of Greyer/Grayer.

I liked this too but ultimately we feared taunting along the lines of "Gray is gay" so we didn't use it. Same with Dick (but I don't like that name.) Something to think about. FWIW, no issue with gays here, but kids can be cruel.

dislike "Gray" myself but if op likes the name, whether or not it's "trendy" shouldn't matter.

I agree with you on Addison though. Not sure why so many people name their girls something that means, literally, "Son of Adam."

Also not a big fan of Mason, but that's because I dislike occupational names (also: Piper, Hunter, Archer -- so medieval and backwards)

When I think of Grey/Gray I think of hair. And that makes me think of old people.

Ok, I think it's kind of a cool name. BUT, all I think of is 50 Shades of Gray! ick for a baby!!

Lloyd means gray in I think welsh. It's edgier.

Just realized this thread is old and the kid is already here, but, my two cents, regardless . . .

Gray for a boy, Grey for a girl (and yes, I have known girls named Grey. I wouldn't name my daughter grey, but it is a unisex name.)
