Just came back from Paris. I've been many times. Highlights of this trip were: tasting the most delectable chocolate EVER at Jacques Genin's chocolate shop/cafe in the 3rd arrondissement. Taking the fascinating, guided tour of the Opera Garnier (followed by some serious shopping at nearby Printemps), and visiting the Musee D'Orsay (again). Or say has been remodeled and recently reopened, more glorious than ever. Ooh, I almost forgot --- go to La Maison Larnicol on the rue de Rivoli for a taste of the most heavenly, flaky, mouth-watering treat. It's a Breton cake called "Kouinne Amann." Trust me, you've never tasted anything this good before.

The Louvre does nothing for me - love d'Orsay though! And Pere Lachaise is very cool to just wander through. My favorite day trip is Chartres if you are into cathedrals. It is mind-bogglingly beautiful. Best thing about Paris though is just walking the streets - especially the Left Bank.
