I would think that the other members of the committee would stand up for a kid if the principal was trying to cut their score just for the sake of keeping them at the school.

I think the Shrevewood parents could have a hard time this year. The new principal was alarmed that the school sent 18 kids to AAP last year. She has mentioned it several times. I suspect she will try to keep the number down this year. I would wager GBRS will be low.

BTW. I do not have a child up for AAP this year so I don't have a dog in the fight.

My dd is in pool. She didn't take NNAT since we moved in FCPS last fall. All her cogat score are above 135, so I guess that's why she is in pool.

Same situation here. Forestville.

Thanks, Forestville. At GFES. Nothing in mail today either but told by school they were mailed yesterday. NNat would put her in pool but read something on other thread that they are looking at NNat (taken in first grade) and CoGAT this year together to determine pool, not one or the other. Can someone confirm or deny? Does everyone find this as ridiculous as I do?
