But, he's not a great football player. He gets credit he doesn't deserve. He wouldn't have won half the games he did without his kicker. The kicker won quite a few games for the broncos.

I'm not the Brady/James poster but rather than going to a list of people, is it so hard to agree that Tim is doing positive and helpful things with his time and money off the field. And that he should be commended, not ridiculed for doing so? And generally speaking, isn't Tim doing more/better than lots of athletes similarly situated? Why begrudge this kid?

FWIW, my understanding is that Tom Brady has done the best he could with the situation of his first child. Bridget got pregnant pretty much their last time together. Stuff happens. People have sex out of wedlock - Sometimes, kids result from it. It just shows they are human. As long as they aren't out there knocking up multiple women, I won't fault them for those things.

I'm not saying people should emulate them having kids out of wedlock, but I'm less willing to condemn these 2 for the listed "offenses" than the others.

Um, no. I get what you were saying about Tebow doing positive things. Good for him. And of course further, who should be considered a positive role model. I don't disagree that quite a few athletes are NOT good people or good role models. I was just stating that I think Tom Brady and Lebron don't necessarily belong on this list for the reasons listed. The womanizing is way more offensive than a baby out of wedlock with someone you were/are in a long-term relationship with.

I hope Tebow actually does practice what he preaches where women are concerned.
