Try Miyagi in McLean.

What sushi spots don't have speical rolls?

Well besides Harris Teeter?

Oh yee of little faith! They do these too.

Really? Like Teeter Tuna? I had no idea. I actually may try it.

OP -- finding good sushi is a great quest. I always thought Matuba's was the best but once they shut down then became something else it wasn't the same. We have been on the quest now for years. I hope to never stop.

Went to Sushiko in Glover Park and Chopsticks in Georgetown over the weekend. Both were well above average...very good!

OP here. so based on the responses, I went to Tachibana last night. It was alright. They didn't have too many special roll options so I got the spicy scallop (yum), spicy salmon (yum), negitoro jalapeno (eh), and rainbow roll (yuck-was sweet - sushi shouldnt be sweet!). I would have enjoyed it if they had more interesting options...

Next up, I think I will try Kushi.
