Agree - if you want a lot of responses, you should start a new thread. That said, if you want to stay at WIS for primary school and beyond, then choose WIS because you don't want to risk not getting in later.

We've been at WIS for 10 years and love it - but we're in the Spanish track.

WIS if you want to live in DC.

Rochambeau is less expensive and is in Bethesda.

Sligo Creek in MD is a good option. Teachers, students and parents are happy in general.

Maryvale ES in Rockville also has French immersion but the classroom ambiance and the quality of teaching varies from one class to another. There are a few good teachers and there are not so good ones.
