I would just lay in my own bed until noon, get up, eat everything my family hates, and then maybe try to do some things to the house that have been bugging me for a long time.
But this is the sort of "gift" I like best- the gift of free time.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:You have to tell us more about your wife. I've also gotten those tech gifts that were not on my radar that I love like the iPad, back in the day the ipod shuffle, and even my first cell phone were gifts from DH.
A purse is very personal. And hot pink? Really? Are you 12?
It really depends on your wife, if she has EVERYTHING (I am one of those women who has everything...I make a lot of money, and if I want something, I get it). You need to get her something that is HER. Last year from Christmas my DH bought me the really old hard cover Nancy Drew books. I loved them as a girl and told him that I had bought two or three and wanted to start collecting them. He bought me the whole collection. Things like this make more of an impression because they show your wife that you're listening to her.
Or a spa day.

(Perhaps tell wifey that you're taking them shopping, then take them to a friend's house where you will have stashed the clothes, and where perhaps someone can help you do hair and whatnot, if this isn't your thing.) Do this in utter secrecy, and present the framed result on Christmas morning.
