That the person didn't think through the implications or consequences of their action before making their choice. So, announcing a pregnancy early on FB is ill-considered, given the risk of miscarriage and the need to then go back and tell everyone about it (which is what people were saying was tacky, and yes, many people were rude/harsh about it, but not all).

And no, I'm not posting this as a "hit dog." It's just that whenever someone asks for an opinion on DCUM, they are either asking if it's tacky or they are told that it's tacky.

For the record, I also think the posts mocking people for giving their kids "made-up" or "tacky" names are catty and snobby, although I'm not naming my kids any of the names that are made fun of. Some people have opinions on things that don't personally apply to them.
