i find that it doesn't matter how much the shoes costs, as long as it is made in italy. those seem to fit my best. i dont buy manolos or anything, but kate spade and j crew heels are made in italy, are comfortable, and easy to resole when the time comes.

To the OP who wears shoes out no matter the quality, it may be because of the way you walk. That's a common problem.

So happy to have bought my first pair of expensive heels. Dior pointy toe nude pumps. The heel is very thin but the heel cap thing has not ripped up at all in the four months I've worn them, unlike cheaper heels in my experience. And the leather feels better every time I wear them. I wait three days in between wears. Oh and they also have toe cleavage. I feel unstoppable when I wear them at work and that also adds to the value

Do what you want... If you don't see the value then keep buying what you like. Or give it a try and see if its for you.

Yes. I have wide feet and Stuart Weitzman and Salvatore Ferragamo are easy on me because they have wide widths available. They are leather-soled which makes for longer wear and more comfort.

It does not matter how long the shoes last. Both expensive and cheap shoes stink after a while. I have less problems with parting with the cheaper ones...

Yes, yes and yes. Shoes are worth the $ and well made ones can last forever. Buy classic styles and colors and you will find yourself wearing them for many years. Plus they can completely elevate an outfit.
