I purchased the Horizon Organic DHA Omega-3 3pk on 6/24/2014 from Sams's Club Store #6332, 1000 Franklin Mills Cir., Philadelphia, PA 19154, (215) 632-2299

The UPC is 108857 and the code at the top of the carton reads: 07 28 14 0955 51-4114 EH5-1

I bought a 3 pack of Horizon Milk from Sam's Club. It is very fishy. We had to pour it out. Are they not doing a taste test before selling this? It is awful.

Last week the Horizon DHA bought from Knoxville Sams Club taste like fish too. I will switch without DHA and try out. Else I will stop using Horizon Milk.

There is at least one brand with anchovies as an added ingredient. Omega 3 & dha in boldface on the front. Just bad stuff. Plus fish and milk are opposite foods

Milk tastes like that when it is sour.

I, too, have noticed the taste after the milk has warmed up. Especially in my coffee. Algal will have just as strong an "oceany" flavor as anything using fish oil. From where do you think the fish pick up that flavor? I wish I had noticed that Sam's changed their three-pack to the dha. Our family doesn't even need the supplementation. We're just going to have to grin and bear it.

This thread is horrifying. I love milk. Now they're making my milk fishy??!?

It only has fishy taste when heated, don't notice it when served cold. Heating must do something to the DHA

Yes, and Smart Balance PB also tastes fishy if you don't stir the oil on top, and even then it's still there.

Horizon Dha formulas really taste fishy when heated. Can't tell when cold like on cereal.

^^^ I had barely poured the Smart Balance into a cup before I started gagging from the putrid fish odor, and I usually not squeamish about anything. Yuck!

Never posted before but can't help but comment. I just made a yummy chocolate cake with homemade icing. I've made it a bunch of times, but this time used the Horizon with the DHA added. (Picked it up by mistake). The taste ruined my icing, which of course, ruined my cake.
I won't make that mistake again! Gross! Yuck! Nasty! Boo!

I only notice the fish taste when I warm the milk. Though I never notice it with the regular horizon, only the DHA kind. I love the regular so I'll just have to switch back and take a DHA supplement.

Sort of related: I bought some sort of "super" yogurt from Wegman's the other day - NASTY. Totally tastes like the fish oil that's in it. I'm not a vegetarian, but it never would have occurred to me to check to see if yogurt is vegetarian...

The taste of Horizons organic DHA omega three milk has changed, it's more of a fishy flavor now.
