How many times has Charlie Sheen been married?

Dr. Wilson on House has been divorced three times. He's a cutie-pie, and very kind. So, maybe, in a fictional world, I would consider it.

In the real world though? Absolutely not.

No -- unless the guy was really rich and I was homeless.

Our marriage has lasted 15 years and I don't see it ending. (I could of course be wrong.)

That said, I would not marry someone who has been divorced 3x already.

What happened with your DH's second marriage?

It's more complex than I care to go into here, but essentially came down to irreconcilable differences. They were married for 10 years.

Only if he were really rich and didn't ask me to sign a prenup

yeah, I get that. . . but

Define "quite a few years." In my book, that's around 10 years. And then there's the "break" btw. marriages. So I would hope that at least 2 good years would pass before Marriage Lover purchased another ring!

I am divorced. Once. I would not marry a person with three divorces behind them. I'd even be hesitant about two divorces depending on the reasons.

If the spouse did something like cheat then I feel like the divorce is not the "victim" partner's fault. Let's say he got a "that was a mistake" divorce once and a "my wife cheated on me" foor # 2. I might consider that. But If it was just "irreconcilable differences" with three wives? No way.

Unless the thrice divorced person wants kids I don't see why they'd want to get married again. Live and learn.

No way!!! Hanging out for some fun sure but why ask for ex-wife drama or his children.
There has to be a reason for 3 divorces.

My friend almost married her boyfriend a few years ago. It would have been her 1st marriage, and his 4th. Then he asked her for a prenup. He's okay financially, but not wealthy. SHe just thought "Jesus, how many times is he planning on getting divorced", and things just crumbled from there.

Most likely he sees marriage as a temporary state of being. If your friend is OK with that, go for it. However, what kind of number has that done on his personal wealth? My husband is once-divorced and divorce really set him back financially. He has recovered, but not to the state he once was. Which is fine with me; I make my own money and don't need a man to do so. But I can't imagine what 3 divorces has done to anyone who had any savings at all.

My dad is on his third wife, and he's my stepmom's fifth husband. Her first husband died, but then she got divorced three times. Despite the incredible level of trashiness of this, she's a really great person. I think that she made some terrible mistakes in the past with men, but she and my dad seem really happy after 10 years together. One night (after a few glasses of wine) I told them that they'd better never split up because they're really too old to get married yet again. Hopefully they stick together. I really think that she's the best thing that ever happened to my dad.
