I don't know. I'm still at the office. We don't have plans, so why rush home? I am not upset about it in the least.
DH told me earlier this week he forgot to order me flowers but that he meant to. I told him all I needed was a bath for two. We have had one every night since.
It's a little too early for a bath, so I'm still here!

Never, ever work late on v-day. If nothing else, it is NOT worth the potential suspicion. That or have a damn good way of validating the hours.

My mom and dad dropped off big dish of chicken parmigana, pasta and gift bags for my kids this morning. They are the best and always have me covered. I WAH but was in the Office 1/2 day for a meeting. My cleaning lady was doing her biweekly cleaning. If my husband called at the last minute and said he was working late I would show up at his office with dinner, and if he wasn't there I would call him from his office and ask him where he was.
