"Obama's Wars" by Bob Woodward. As you can imagine, this is not light reading.

I am reading "deaf sentence" by David Lodge right now. I just started on it so I don't have much to report, yet. I just finished Freedom (reviewed it on the Freedom thread; liked it but found it flawed as did most of the rest of you).

I finished Sarah's Key. Thought it was pretty poorly written, but I couldn't help thinking about the book after I finished anyway. Next up is Madeline Albright's biography, which was recommended on DCUM.

Madeline Albright's biography is one of the best things I ever read. She is truly an inspiration.

Are you speaking of "Read My Pins?" (autobiography) or is there a biography that is good?

Great Gatsby - I am mixing in a classic every once in a while.

DS is 13 months - I read when he is napping or at night.

Kids are 5 and 6

Read: The Geography of Happiness (loved it - easy to pick up/put down when busy as each chapter stands alone). "little bee" - good book, but heavy (about a girl from Nigeria who immigrates to the UK). Want to read "the room" and "enders game". Have :the girl who" trilogy, but for some reason haven't started it. The only time I have to read is after the kids go to bed and the dishes and laundry are done/started.

3 and 5. They go to bed at 8 so that's when I read. Unless I'm on DCUM, of course

I read at night after DD is in bed, which is usually by 7. She's 7 months. I also sometimes read during her am nap which can last as long as 2 hours. I SAH, for now, so I'm taking full advantage of my leisure time.

I recently read "The Passage" by Justin Cronin. I don't usually read this kind of book but it was creepy good. At the start, I could only read it during the day, but then the story changes and I gobbled it up.
