Believable, but uncommon for US employers.

Also working for a startup, often meant spending all day in the office abroad meeting co-workers and giving presentations to get more business and then at night having to catch up with other clients online in meetings in their normal time zones....

I traveled a lot working for a nonprofit as well as a startup with many international clients.

It can be fun when you are young and without too many obligations, but it got to be a drag especially when being abroad for a month and missing many important events.

It is rough flying in on flights of over 12 hours and not being adjusted to the time yet and having to meet clients in person while being half awake. It got to the point I would get up in the morning and need a minute to remember which city I was in.
