So no consistency, just blips?
It should not be hard to have a few D1 commits IF “VDA is the best club to be recruited from.”

PhD? Can’t be a VDA parent.
This is just racist and classist and y’all Arlington and Bethesda parents need to get over yourselves. You see a brown girl playing soccer and think she must be on scholarship. SMH.
I have a feeling you probably use the word ‘racist’ at least 8 times a week

Total tangent, but it is hilarious to work with those types…they start turning red when you call them by their first name, but they are at the same level as you and just have to deal with it 😂Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Nope PhD thanks from a school everyone has heard of and not even a VDA parent, just sick of the nonsense from ingrates like you
Do you make people call you Doctor?

And still no VDA commitments. The hype train is officially over.

The bickering, the negativity… their kids are thankfully/gratefully aged out of this forum and will be providing nothing. This forum is dominated by U13 and their insecure crazy parents that have not figured it out yet. But you will. Eventually everything is determined by your DC’s skill and not nothing on here matters. Period. It’s all toxic nonsense. Just look at how many threads are devoted to U13 and how few above.
That's the part that I don't agree with. Certain opportunities are afforded to some kids early on which leads them down a path. The U13s should fight to be on that path since there is definitely a lot of subjectivity at these younger ages.
To be fair, if your kid can’t make a U13 roster in MLS Next HG, GA or ECNL, you should not be in this thread and you are focused on the wrong things. The levels are not high in this area so the kid has a lot more work to do than worrying about “other people being afforded opportunities.”
1-2 hours on the ball everyday will solve every nepotism and favoritism argument that ever existed. Don’t want to work that hard, then this pathway is not just for your kid. Find something they are passionate enough to put in 1-4 hours into daily. My non-soccer playing kid will be the easiest scholarship ever.
