I live in NJ. Rutgers is not a good school, most kids go there only reluctantly (sadly).

I got married at the Kirkpatrick chapel @ Rutgers so it will always have a special place in my heart...

It is a big pile of money. There is no reason for these schools to hang on to that level of wealth when they are cutting programs left and right and expecting UMC families to fork over $400,000 for a bachelors degree for each child.

NJ kids don't want to go to Rutgers, but it's a good school.

My niece went there reluctantly (high stats but didn't have the money for oos/private, donut family). She graduated with zero debt and started earning six figures within 5 years of graduating while her friends who went oos were still struggling to pay back loans.
