In that you were challenged in formatting your post, your impression should not be surprising.

No your post is just incoherent. You brought up pairings arbitrarily and the explanation is a word salad.

Agree 100%. This list is ridiculous.

Wharton has extraordinary outcomes. A&S not so much.

(no kid at Penn, but wondering if place on list is about Wharton exclusively)

This list makes USNWR look decent.

How about YOU GTFOH?

USC and Michigan are both way too high.

So Carleton College did not make the top 100 list?

But Pitzer is 79, Oxy is 81, Macalester is 84 and Colorado College is 90?

Seems like a pretty notable omission.

Not a bad list, but why so many LACs in top 50? Feels like the LACs are diluting an otherwise solid list.

What do you mean by pairings?
The schools in each pair are ranked adjacent to each other. This seems notable for these particular pairs of colleges in that the schools in them are often informally considered together as well.
This is incoherent.

They are the top for undergraduate education.

There’s no proof of this

USNWR is the only ranking that matters, like it or not.

Lol Penn makes reasonable sense considering the metrics used as well as other sources not directly used here(top researchers list Clarivate, test required SAT data, Average starting salary)
My first thought was it was a Dartmouth grad made this...

For the most part it is better. Certainly the metrics used are metrics that matter for outcomes. In general though, its a shuffle of the same ivy+ type-top15 schools. All these schools keep coming up over and over as worth it. My kids' three schools are all still in the top 10 as they are on almost all of these lists.
