Former Langley principal fired from their next position for not responding appropriately to reports of staff misconduct.

Langley math teacher arrested for inappropriate interaction with a student.



You could go high school by high school and come up with list after list.

The problem is predators and criminals, not just one high school

So as long as it was someone else’s kids who were the target of a sexual predator at Langley, and not yours, it’s all good, right?


Of course not. We are devastated by this and I applaud the student who had the courage to report a teacher who was very popular, but y’all are implying that somehow the school, despite background checks, should have intuitively known this guy was a predator. It happens all across the country, in schools — it happened in my low-rent, super-poor middle school in the 1980s, it happened in my low-rent high school, and it happens at rich boarding schools. It’s not just a Langley thing, nor is it a rich school thing — but y’all want to make it seem that way.


Most, if not all, of fcps high schools have had this happen.

"During the trip Mr. Rademacher was alleged to have supplied alcohol to the students, encouraged students to drink to the point of intoxication, instructed students to strip naked and drink together and instructed twostudents to engage in sex acts while he watched and participated."

School officials also say during their internal investigation students on the trip confirmed most of the allegations made against Rademacher and that Rademacher refused to cooperate with the internal investigation.

Christopher Rademacher has not been charged with a crime.



The excuse was it happened overseas.


It was not a school-sponsored trip and the incidents happened overseas — outside the jurisdiction of FCPD. Also, alcohol consumption is legal for 16 year olds in Germany. I don’t know the extent of he sexual allegations. To be sure, FCPS stripped the teacher of his license.
