There is a team on here that constantly talks about how fast their meets move with pre-seeded heats. I can almost guarantee I know who they are and their meets are SO SLOW! It's not the heats holding them back but their announcer/officials who move at a snail speed.
If you are talking OKM there B meets are incredibly fast even against other larger teams. They can swim 400 kids and be done at 9. Preseed is huge.
But agree you cannot stop for DQs. You have to keep going.
Agree, Old Keene Mill runs a fast meet, but they have like 40 officials on deck so the meet only stops if there is vomit in the pool or a thunderstorm. We were at a B meet with them and a thunderstorm was 15 minutes away. We were on backstroke and we got through the end of fly. Their starter and referee are no joke!
How do they clear their timers? Or do they not?
The same two head timers work every meet and have been doing it together for 10 years. There are also standby timers. It’s PVS meet fast.

We tried for years to join a B meet league but they are kind of set and don't ask for new teams.
