Mitchell from Heights or brother Dave from NL? Dave is done with high school coaching as he's too busy with club and the events he supports and organizes. Boh, that's a tough pull from Heights but maybe since Bartozzi just quit Bullis. Older Giblin - he has a full time job and he's old. Club Blue is also taking off with now 8 classes. Seems like a successful launch for his son. inces lives too far away and his wife is the breadwinner. Who is White? From Broadneck? He's in his 70's and been retired. Maybe they pulled Bartozzi back.

The answer will be Donahue from Urbana.

Interesting. White is the current OC. I believe the older Coach White from Broadneck is his dad. I heard Dave (not Bo) is on the shortlist. I haven't heard the name Donahue in the mix. I will check around.

Is Bartozzi qualified to be the HC of a high school team?

He's been assistant at 2 different schools; played at a high level in college, high school success, club level coach, already lives in the area and is a teacher. Any school should be asking about him. We aren't talking about rocket science, it's high school lacrosse.

Donahue will be the hire. He's a PE coach and administrator and a really good coach and recruiter.

That would not surprise me. As long as Speaks could co-exist with the Head of School, it could happen. I am not convinced Bullis would finance Speaks' aggressive recruiting strategies. Bullis' price tag is just too high. Bellistri would be pissed at this move. Speaks is Bellistri's foe.

Speaks never coming to Bullis!!

GZ is a nightmare unless you are part of the Mater Dei pipeline, and SJC is just too hard to get to on a daily basis. EHS is intriguing as they have good coaching that has actual college connections. SSSAS should not be on your list. Coach is nice enough but school is very pricey now and it would be one thing if you got great lax too, but in the last three years they haven't had a winning record with only 10 or 11 wins. Its bad lacross. Nice kids. Pretty school, but for that price and with what you might want to have as a pathway to college, its just not it. Go to Landon. Better pedigree. Better coaching. Same price.

If you live in NOVA why not PVI? Better lacrosse half the price.

Based on the job description, it's not a full-time job.

I think having a club director who also runs a club program as his full-time job is ultimately not going to work out long-term. It's hard to do both jobs extremely well and can be perceived as a conflict of interest.

In theory, I'm sure Dave or Bo might be able to push families over to Bullis who might have looked at other privates (Landon, SJC, GP GC, SJC), but it's not as simple as many think it is. Bullis is a very expensive institution and sure they can give out FA but its still a heavy price tag.

Hopefully, Bullis AD and Headmaster are thinking more broadly and can create a full-time on-campus role so the next head coach is more ingrained in the school community.

Part -time coaches generally fan out after a few years when they realize how much time and effort is involved to run an elite program.

Not to throw mud at Gonzaga's program which seems to have declined quickly... King has full-time job at Clark Construction. I have zero clue how he manages both responsibilities, and we all know which one he is planning to prioritize first.

I think losing their OC will have a much bigger impact on the team than what people realize. I'd expect them to take a significant step back next year.

Hard to see that happening, STA returns nearly every impact player and 3 all-iac players, which is rare for them.

Why go to prep if a player from NC or GA or FL is going to transfer in and getting more playing time? GP will soon resemble a roster that you find in culver or western reserve.
