I put in all the forecasted values including dew point for Monday and got this:

DEW POINT! not % TY. Also the image has the feels like (essentially the heat index). It's not very humid and any kid will be fine unless they have a severe medical issue.

The dew point will be 60-67 degrees. The UV index is at a 10 - very hight.

Also even have a breeze which is uncommon on the really hot muggy summer days.

Unless your child has a medical issue, I would let them deal with it. It will be uncomfortable, especially because it’s been so cold, and we’re not used to the heat, but they will be fine.

I would tell them to let a teacher know if they feel faint or nauseous

Usually pe teachers and coaches are pretty good about hydration. If your kid has a particular condition, write a note. Otherwise, I would trust the teacher’s judgement. They aren’t going to be pushed to extreme levels if it’s not safe.

Notice the Heat Index isn't above the temp at all. Your kid will be fine for PE class

OK here's your small meteorology lesson for the day. I picked the most extreme forecast where it shows 97, but the rel humidity is 33% because it's relative to the temperature. Dew point is far superior because the dew point is the dew point. 61 dp is actually a bit humid and that will suck, but that's the exact worse time of day. It's nothing like the oppressive 70+ dps we get in the summer.

Humidity is 57% at 11:30 am. That coincides with the class.
