Musk fanboys change cars before they have to change tires and definitely well before suspension.

They were awful, old Teslas are money pits.

Newer ones are maybe better but we still have to get to the long term trends…

And either way, if they are damaged repairs are astronomically more expensive

This. We have to get a Y to rent when we fly somewhere. We do it through Turo. Anything else just feels like a dog and too noisy. Our gas car sits in the driveway too.

Being better means using your rational brain and buying the better car. Why would you not buy the superior car? My car is for me to drive and enjoy. I like to reward innovation. Lots of people were involved with making the car. Most of them are just like us.
