I am sorry that you feel this way OP 😔, but I do agree w/you that people who are good-looking lead much better lives than those that do not.
(Though natural good looks & surgically enhanced good looks are both neck ‘n neck these days…..look at the Kardashian’s for instance!)

+1. Charismatic personality can make up a lot for physical attributes. But that is also mostly inherited/luck as well.

+2. Good Personality can make some very attractive. Bad personality can make them ugly. For me, personality is a huge factor.

And so much of beauty can be bought. Men can get cosmetic work, hair transplants, get in shape, buy nice clothes. Beauty standards for women nowadays have gotten so extreme even the attractive ones need to invest so much time and money into their appearance.

Men can't grow taller though, and height is the top indicator of physical attracriveness.

I have a friend who is a very short man (*maybe* 5’4), not at all conventionally attractive, but very successful financially.

He got cosmetic work done, got ripped, dresses well, bought a swanky mansion, a vacation home, and fancy cars.

He does just fine with women. Usually has several he rotates through. Travels multiple times a year and usually brings one with him.

Playing to your strengths and having confidence goes a long way.

No offspring though. Interesting. Nobody wants short sons?

He doesn’t want kids. I think he’s very happy with the bachelor life.

Well that’s a dealbreaker for mrany women right there.

Pretty much the majority of women want a monogamous relationship and to at least try having kids.

I married a short man and have a short son and an even shorter daughter.

That's fine. I didn't want a tall man.

You are in the wrong place. I think you would enjoy the incel and pick up artist subreddits more.

Unless you are a troll, of course, and making this up to rile up the DCUM regulars. In which case you will likely succeed admirably.

If you marry a tall woman, you will probably have tall sons.
And if tall guys marry short small women, there is no quarantine they will have "tall sons" either - they may get short petite sons and tall larger daughters. Ask me how I know.

Anonymous wrote:Every single good looking woman has dated a guy who was not conventionally attractive or "her type" - the common thread is personality and confidence. But so many short / ugly / balding guys just wallow down into the "I'd have such a better life if I was 6'4"!!" mentality that they're walking around either mopey or furious. And then when women are not attracted to a furious or miserable guy, he decides it's because women are shallow and he spirals further.

My short, now balding, DH is a smart funny guy who loves to cook. We've been married for quite a while and his coworkers sometimes ask him "how did you meet her?"

You have to develop other aspects of yourself other than height or looks OP.

Sure, it’s hard to do much about your face, but is your body fit and attractive? If you have money and you’re fit and you’re kind, you’ll do fine. But no amount of money could make me want to sleep with a fat man.

I read somewhere that when women see a rich guy who is objectively unattractive, they actually see him as attractive.

So, it’s NOT a situation where they see an unattractive guy & then mentally factor in his wealth, & conclude he’s a good guy to be attracted to. The wealth subconsciously makes them like whatever the guy looks like.
