This is a fair point, and I'm no PVI partisan. I have no problem with GC having a full 1/3 of all 1st and 2nd team selections (11/33), nor SJC, BI, and SMR getting 4-5 each. But I don't understand how PVI, which beat all three of the teams at the 4-5 level, only has 2 2nd-team selections. AHC has more?! You could say that PVI had more of a team effort and fewer standouts--that is possible--but seems a bit out of whack here. PVI probably should have 1-2 1st teamers and 2-3 2nd teamers.
I think your analysis is spot on. they have a few very good players and then alot of role players that do their job but not standouts

It's unlikely that anyone from the WCAC or ISL could reasonably judge how well anyone played throughout the whole season. While coaches may know how their own players did, they generally only see opposing players once and can't fully assess them. So, how are these lists actually compiled?

I agree with that. I don't think Potomac should be considered the presumptive #2 if they're relying on "reloading with some good 2030s." That seems overly optimistic.
Except out of their 6 seniors, only two were huge contributors. Two are soccer stars and just play lacrosse at Potomac, etc, so I wouldn’t rule out Potomac to at least be top 3. They’re getting the top ‘30 goalie, so they’ll continue to have a strong goalie pipeline, too.
Top ‘30 goalie in the nation? What club team?
She is really good, big loss for Holton. Great kid and parents, will be missed.

Thank you for this. This actually says a lot compared to last year. Some awesome players, but the depth isn't there across the conference.
2 or 3 of the absent Cadets would have been on this list if not for their injuries
