Has anyone toured recently? Academically, is the school still considered a Public Ivy?

Would you just STFU and quit polluting every thread with your nonsense.
- not the poster, but their comment is relevant for me as a parent who doesn't want my kid inundated with "woke" "fascist liberals" and group-think. Seems like you should STFU and go work on your purple hair and anger control.
You already know the answer. Go 2A on yourself.
Wow. Another example of the tolerant and inclusive left being tolerant and inclusive.
New poster. Anyone who uses the word "woke" in 2026 is trolling. Someone who says "Can a student who isn't woke thrive socially or will they face ostracization?" is starting a fight. I don't get why people ask these questions over and over. College students protest-they have since the beginning of time.
That might be true, but it's really only the geed losers spending their free time protesting. Maybe it was different in the 60s when there were actual civil rights issues worth marching for, but the free Palestine and no kings nonsense is so tiring. You never see touse kids out there constantly seeking things to be outraged about, and even bouse kids have much better social options than holding up signs and doing the same tired hey hey ho ho chants. When people like the PP say they don't want "woke" campuses, they mean they don't want that kind of environment to predominate.

Anonymous wrote:Not touching the public ivy topic, but it is true that the drug/homeless junkie situation has gotten much worse over the years. There's a noticeably different feel than there was 10-15 years ago (not sure I'd pin the change to Covid). Still tons of wonderful things to recommend about Burlington, and despite the uptick in drugs and homelessness, I didn't feel unsafe. I was panhandled quite a bit though.
